Via Della Slice Shop is Downtown Phoenix’s new kid on the block. And although this spot is one of the latest to open in the area, they’ve got no shortage of old school cool just oozing out from their brick-clad Prohibition-era digs. Speaking of oozing, Via Della’s White Pie with homemade white sauce and mozz is a must-order. Other notables include the Grandma Pie, a square indulgence decorated with crispy pepperoni and the taste bud-punching Phoenix Pie, a fiery number that’s decked out with red sauce, spicy sopressata, marinated peppers, hot honey, fresh basil, and sprinkled with reggiano cheese. All of which are available by the slice or whole pie.
